President

Sarah Mainwaring

Sarah Mainwaring was born in Colebrook, New Hampshire on December 19, 1990. She
graduated Paul J.  Hagerty High School in June 2009.  During her high school years, she spentmost of her time serving her church through missions and service projects, volunteering at localorganizations, and working at local medical office during the afternoons and summers. Shemarried her high school love 3 months after walking across the graduation stage.  Sarah has been a Military Spouse for ten years. Her family’s previous duty stations include RAF
Lakenheath, Cannon AFB, Joint-Base Lewis McChord, an unaccompanied tour in Kunsan Air Base RoK, and Robins AFB. She loved to volunteer at the RAF Lakenheath’s weekly Newcomers
Briefings preparing and serving food for incoming Airmen and their families. At Cannon AFB, she served her local church’s children’s ministry teaching Sunday school to preschoolers. During her time in Washington, Sarah enjoyed volunteering at her church. She also served on the board of the McChord Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC) as the Administrative Coordinator. Upon her arrival at Robins AFB in July, Sarah was eager to find her tribe and get connected into the local community. This is where she found the Robins Spouses Club. Sarah has been attending the Robins Spouses Club since the Ice Cream Social last year and volunteers any chance she can. She also volunteers leading middle schoolers at AWANA held at the base chapel every week. Her heart for people and service is what motivates her in her day to day life.Her husband, Tyler, is a part of the 461st MXS here at Robins Air Force Base. Together, they have two rambunctious little boys. Besides homeschooling her boys, she can usually be found baking cookies or out having coffee with friends. She enjoys learning about others and finding out what makes them unique.

Administrative Vice President

Laura Reeve

Laura Reeve is the Administrative Vice President for the Robins Spouses' Club.  She grew up in Marquette, Michigan and moved to SW Florida to attend college.  She studied Nursing and is a graduate of Edison State College.  Her family moved from MacDill AFB in Tampa Florida before moving to Warner Robins, GA.  She lives in Bonaire and has been stationed at Robins Air Force Base for two years. Laura served as the President of the Spouses Club at MacDill AFB during their stay.  She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, her son Ivan, and her two dogs.  She also enjoys hiking and camping and anything to do with traveling and exploring, and spending time with friends and loved ones.  She is passionate about the military, local community, and finds value in giving back as much as she can to others.

Philanthropic Vice President

Michele Brown

Michele Brown hails from a small town in rural Missouri. After graduating high school, she
attended Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois and graduated from the United
States Air Traffic Control Technical School, Biloxi, Mississippi in June of 1989. Michele has been
married to Lt. Colonel James P. Brown for over 30 years. They have 4 children, Stephan,
Rebekah, Rachel, and Hannah.
Michele homeschooled all 4 of her children from K-5 through high school. Before children and
at their first assignment, Cannon AFB, New Mexico, Michele worked in a marketing department
writing copy and producing commercials for a local radio station. Later, she found her true
passion in the culinary arts where she pursued further education in baking and cake design.
Michele has been able to pack up her experience and supplies, baking and catering for events
all over the globe as a military spouse.

Administrative Assistant

Nicole Magalad-Romero

Nicole has been a founding member and supporter of the RSC since its inception, with a
commitment to community service and bringing people together. She has lived in Warner
Robins for 6 years with her three children and her husband Samuel, and serves as a Key Spouse for
JSTARS 461st MXS.
Nicole studied Early Childhood Development and trained with Bright From the Start from 2009
to 2015 to develop and implement weekly and monthly curriculums, train new employees
according to state regulations, communicate effectively and daily with parents and director(s)
on the learning progress of each student in class, and to develop and maintain a good standing
relationship with all caregivers involved. She continues her training to renew her CDA every two
years through the state of GA. Currently, Nicole follows her passion for teaching and working
with young toddlers through Pre-K at Foundation Academy in Perry.  Currently, she serves the RSC as the Administrative Assistant, and develops and manages the RSC social media channels: Website, Facebook and Instagram.

Nicole grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia and enjoys spending time with her family and friends during her free time.

Financial Officer

Amanda Stites

Amanda Stites was born in Scituate, Massachusetts on 8 February 1988. She graduated from
Scituate High School in June of 2006. During her high school years, you could find her on the
field playing field hockey or softball.
She attended Franklin Pierce University during her freshman year of college where she served
as her class treasurer. Midway through her Freshman year, she applied to The University of
Tampa. In the fall of 2007, Amanda transferred to UT. While in Tampa, she nannied for two
families, took a full course load and worked on campus in the Office of Student Conduct. She
met her husband, Cory, while in attendance at UT in October 2008.
Amanda has been a military spouse for a little over seven years. She served as a Key Spouse at
Cheyenne Mountain AFS in Colorado Springs, CO for both the 721st SFS and 721st CES. She and
her family relocated to Robins AFB, following her husband’s retrain from security forces to flight
engineer. Cory is a flight engineer for the 16th ACCS and Amanda is currently a Key Spouse for
the squadron.
Amanda joined the Enlisted Spouses' Club and served as the Socials Committee Chair. Halfway
through the club year she was elected Treasurer and was re-elected prior to the club merger
and is currently the Administrative Treasurer for the Robins Spouses' Club. When she's not
volunteering with the RSC, you can usually find her out and about with her kids, having coffee
with friends or reading a book.

Philanthropic Treasurer

Tavia Lynn Dowden

Tavia Lynn Dowden is from Tampa, Florida and lived there for the majority of her life.  In high school, she couldn't wait to leave and spread her wings.  In her journey to find herself, Tavia Lynn attended The University of Central Florida, Florida Atlantic University, and University of South Florida where she finished her Bachelor's Degree in Communication.  Tavia met her husband, Matt, at MacDill AFB.  Her life as a military spouse has molded her and helped her grow into the person she always wanted to be.  Tavia has a giving heart and a passion for helping people.  Tavia joined the Robins Spouses' Club this past year and is looking forward to this upcoming year.

Outside of being a military spouse, Tavia works full time as a Realtor here in Middle Georgia.  Tavia, Matt, and their two children love to spend time outdoors, whether it be by the water, hiking and camping in the woods, or getting muddy in their four wheelers!
