We caught up with Jo at the RSC Thrift Shop the other day! As most of you know her, Jo is the longest standing volunteer at the Thrift Shop. She has been volunteering there for longer than most of us have been at RAFB!
She has given her time with gift wrapping at the BX, serving food for our Airmen and their families at the Thanksgiving Refuge Dinner, and she will be at the The Cookie Crunch to help as well!
She is also a regular volunteer with the Chapel; gave candy to our young ones during Hallelujah Night, and arranged hot cocoa & cookies during the RAFB Tree Lighting event.
She is such a wonderful and joyful person to have in all our lives therefore our Volunteer of the Month for December 2019 is Jo. (Please excuse the informality; Jo will correct us about addressing her in any other way, before we can even get the next word out of our mouths)
